Charleston Couple Arrested for Tax Evasion
Charleston, SC…South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators arrested a former North Charleston Sewer District employee and his wife this morning on charges of income tax evasion.
George J. Washington, 48, and his wife Terrie U. Washington, 48, are being held at the Charleston County Detention Center pending a bond hearing this afternoon. George is charged with four counts--Terrie with three counts--of state income tax evasion.
