Greenville man charged with failing to file tax returns

South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators arrested a Greenville man today for failing to file his state income tax returns.

Greg L. Rogers, 44, an insurance company agent, was charged with four counts of failing to file individual income tax returns. He was released this morning from the Greenville County Detention Center on a $40,000 personal recognizance bond.

Rogers is accused of willfully failing to file returns from 2002 – 2005. His estimated tax liability for that period is $11,447.

Rogers is facing up to four years in prison and fines of up to $40,000 if convicted of all the charges.
