South Carolina Liquor Store Closings

Columbia, SC…South Carolina liquor stores will need to close during the upcoming general election (November 7), Thanksgiving Day (November 23) and Christmas Day (December 25), according to officials at the South Carolina Department of Revenue.

State law requires that liquor stores close on Sunday, except as authorized by law; during statewide general and run-off elections; and during periods proclaimed by the Governor in the interest of law and order or public morals and decorum.
