Aiken, SC…An Aiken business owner is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center following his arrest today for operating a business without a license.

Robert Earl Gunnels III, 43, owner of Sundance Cleaners, is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center after South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators charged him with one count of continuing to operate a business without a license or on a suspended license. He is accused of intentionally operating Sundance Cleaners and making retail sales even after his license was revoked on September 11, 2009.

Gunnels is facing up to 30 days in prison and a fine of up to $200 if convicted of the charges.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Department assisted in the arrest.
