Employer W2 Filings Now Available Online

Columbia, SC --- The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) now offers employers an online solution for submitting W2 forms.

Through use of the South Carolina Business One Stop (SCBOS), South Carolina’s online business portal, employers may utilize the free W2 Portal to upload wage and tax statements into a single file to send to SCDOR.

The SCBOS W2 Portal is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offers instant feedback on the status of uploaded file content while providing the employer with a receipt and transaction reference number.

Employers with a small number of employees may utilize the direct entry method, and tax professionals who file on behalf of multiple clients can submit return information in a single file. The W2 Portal is also a great resource for those who prepare returns using tax preparation software.
