Capital Projects Tax soon expires in Greenwood County

Greenwood County’s 1% Capital Projects Tax will no longer be imposed effective July 1, 2012. Upon expiration of this local sales and use tax, only the state sales and use tax will be imposed in the county.

The Capital Projects Tax has been imposed in Greenwood County since May 2007 supporting the development of public facilities.
