Greenville business owner arrested
South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) investigators today arrested Ulrick Antonio Thompson, owner of SC Franks Mortuary in Greenville, for one count of operating a business without a valid retail license.
The retail license for SC Franks Mortuary was revoked by SCDOR on July 22, 2011, and the investigation since that time showed that Thompson continued to operate the business after his license was revoked. Thompson is facing up to 30 days in jail and/or a fine of $200 if convicted of the charge.
Thompson, 38, is currently being held at the Greenville County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
