Hilton Head timeshare salesman arrested

Columbia, SC (August 9, 2012) --- SC Department of Revenue investigators today arrested Stephen J. Deutsch of Bluffton for failure to file state income tax returns for years 2005 through 2010. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the arrest.

Deutsch, 47, is a licensed timeshare salesman in Hilton Head, and during 2005 through 2010, he earned income of $321,876 with a state tax liability of over $19,000.

If convicted of the charges, Deutsch could face up to six years in prison and/or $60,000 in fines.
