Columbia, SC (September 19, 2012) --- The owner of PURE Lounge, Stephen Davis, was arrested today by investigators from the SC Department of Revenue and charged with operating a business without a license. Davis, an Irmo resident, is the owner of PURE Lounge located on Berryhill Road in Columbia.

Since the revocation of its license by the SC Department of Revenue in July 2012, the Revenue investigation proved that PURE Lounge continued to operate and conduct sales even without a retail license.

This afternoon, Davis, 38, was taken to the Lexington County Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing. Davis could face up to 30 days in prison and/or $200 in fines if convicted of the charges.
