SC Department of Revenue Will Hold Annual Tax Forms Drive-Thru

Columbia, SC (April 11, 2013) --- South Carolina taxpayers who are waiting until the last minute to file income taxes by the April 15 deadline are offered assistance by means of the SC Department of Revenue’s (DOR) annual tax forms drive-thru service.

DOR employees will be available throughout the day on Friday, April 12 and Monday, April 15 for taxpayers to drive by to pick up or drop off state tax forms at DOR’s main office location. This year’s income tax deadline is midnight Monday, April 15.

While the tax deadline is April 15, South Carolina taxpayers have until May 1, 2013 to file state tax returns when filing electronically. This filing extension applies only to electronically-filed state income tax returns.
