Beaufort County resident arrested on income tax charges

 

Pamela Sue Grim, MD was arrested on April 9, 2014 for five counts of income tax related charges. 

 

SC Department of Revenue officials charged Grim, 60, with five counts of Willful Failure to File Income Tax Returns.   Grim could face fines of up to $50,000 or up to five years in jail or both, plus the cost of prosecution. 

 

For tax years 2007 through 2011, Grim has failed to file South Carolina Individual Income Tax Returns. The total outstanding liability for these years is $42,905.

 

Grim is being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center.  The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Department assisted the South Carolina Department of Revenue in the arrest.
