Aiken County Business Owner Arrested on Tax Charges

Aiken, SC…An Aiken county business owner was jailed Friday at the Aiken County Detention Center following his arrest on a charge of operating a business without a license.

South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators charged Christopher Leon Boyer, 40, owner of Whole House Audio and Video, Inc. in Aiken, SC with continuing to operate a retail business even after the retail license was revoked by the Department on July 7, 2009.
 
Boyer is facing up to 30 days in prison and a fine of up to $200 if convicted of the charges.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Department assisted in Boyer’s arrest.
