Rock Hill business owner arrested on license charge

            The owner of a Rock Hill business that sells bricks and brick laying equipment was arrested by South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators today who charged him with operating his business without a retail sales license.

            David N. Jerolmon, owner of Brick Yard LTD, 148 Old Rawlinson Road, is being held in the York County Detention Center pending a bond hearing later today.

            The Department revoked Jerolmon’s retail sales license in August after the agency accused him of failing to pay state sales tax. He received a written violation in September after Department investigators observed him continuing to operate his business without a license. Department Revenue Officers recently observed Jerolmon once again making sales at his business leading to his arrest today.  

            Jerolmon could be sent to jail for up to 30 days and fined $200 if convicted of the charge.
