The owner of a Manning convenience store was arrested today after South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators charged him with multiply counts of state tax evasion.

James Jones, 67, owner of J & E Superette, was charged with 32 counts of sales tax evasion after turning himself in to Clarendon County Magistrate B.G. Alderman. Alderman released Jones on a $30,000 personal recognizance bond.
