Camden business manager arrested on tax charge
The business manager for a company holding a pizza restaurant franchise was charged today with operating her three restaurant locations without a state retail sales license. South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators charged Julia Ann Ereth, 39, business manager for T.M.E., Inc., with three counts of operating the company’s three Domino Pizza franchises without a retail license. She is being held at the Kershaw County Detention Center pending a bond hearing. The Department of Revenue revoked the company’s retail licenses in August for failing to pay state sales tax. Ereth is accused of continuing to operate the two Sumter County locations and one Kershaw County location after the department revoked the licenses. Ereth is facing up to 90 days in jail and $600 in fines if convicted of the charges.
