Sales and Use Tax Seminar for non-profit organizations

Columbia, SC --- The South Carolina Department of Revenue will hold a Sales and Use Tax Seminar for non-profit organizations on April 21, 2011 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Business managers, Chief Financial Officers, accounting staff, tax professionals and all others who work with sales and use taxes are encouraged to attend.

Topics for the seminar will include South Carolina electronic filing methods, exemptions and exclusions for non-profit organizations, and the basics of sales, use and local taxes.

The seminar will be held at SpringHill Suites, located at 511 Lady Street in Columbia. The registration cost is $25 and all supplies will be included.
