SC Dept. of Revenue to Host Tax Seminar for Healthcare Industry
“A Comprehensive Sales & Use Tax Seminar, but well-explained and easily understood”— Seminar attendee
The South Carolina Department of Revenue will host a Sales & Use Tax Seminar exclusively for the healthcare industry. This seminar is geared towards Business Managers, Chief Financial Officers, Accounts Payable personnel, Accounting Staff, Tax Professionals, and others who work with sales and use taxes.
The seminar will address the following:
· Basics of Sales and Use Tax Law
· Exemptions, Exclusions and Certificates
· What to expect if you are audited
· Electronic Services (State)
