A Spartanburg businessman is in jail today after South Carolina Department of Revenue investigators arrested him on tax charges.

William L. Pace, 61, owner of Bill Pace Insurance, Inc, is being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center pending a bond hearing. He is charged with two counts of failing to file state tax returns in 1999 and 2005.
